Chaleureux French Bulldogs
Respiratory Function Grading was developed at the University of Cambridge as a tool for breeders. Grade 0 means no signs of BOAS were detected at assessment. The assessment form requires certification that the dog has had no respiratory tract surgery, so a grade cannot be held by an operated dog.
Craniofacial ratio measures muzzle length against skull length. Higher is longer in the muzzle. Tracheal ratio measures airway width. Hip scores are read independently; lower is better.
