We are a small scale in home breeder. Places on our waitlist are limited, and we recommend getting in touch if you are considering a puppy in the near future.

Both parents are RFG 0 with no BOAS detected. Both carry one copy of DVL2 and one copy of CDDY.
What that means for the puppies
Each puppy has a one in four chance of being clear of DVL2, and a one in four chance of being clear of CDDY. The two mutations sit on different chromosomes and are inherited independently, so clearing both in the same puppy is one in sixteen.

Guardian Home opportunity
Our screwtail and IVDD elimination program means we need to keep more puppies than we can have living with us. Rather than hold dogs here and rehome them once they are retired, we place selected breeding prospects into Guardian homes as puppies, so they grow up in a family from the start and stay there for life.
We are looking for a Guardian family for a puppy from an upcoming litter, with placement expected in early 2027. Ideally this will be a puppy clear of CDDY, the mutation behind IVDD and the next one we are working to eliminate. A dog like that is genuinely valuable to the program and to the breed.
The family needs to be within about an hour of the Gold Coast, willing to work with us through the term of the agreement, and happy to keep in regular contact. On maturity the dog returns to us briefly for breeding, then goes home.
A Guardian agreement applies and there is a questionnaire to complete. The puppy is not free, but comes at a significantly reduced price.
