Our Chaleureux journey started in March 2023. We had been following along on social media in the 12 months prior and we could see that the Chaleureux breeding program was like nothing else we had seen. They were talking screwtail DVL2 gene elimination, longer snouts, wider nares and so much more. With loads of science backed information and educational posts, we realised we had found a breeder that truly cares about health priority, a breeder that is paving the way for this breed and the life they deserve to live.

We reached out to Nicci with our interest, we really wanted a French Bulldog without the heartache. We were lucky enough to get Queensland's first born single copy screwtail DVL2, her name is Storm. Storm is now 1 year and 5 months old, she's longer, leaner, and breathes with ease, with the North Queensland summer being no problem for her. We walk 5kms, 2 to 3 times a week and she runs after her ball every afternoon, we call her our little athlete cause she just goes and goes with very quick recovery.

We get to live our best, active and fun lifestyle because of Chaleureux and all their years of passion, hard work and absolute dedication. Chaleureux has since achieved even more exciting milestones with the world's first Zero Copy Screwtail DVL2 boys and BOAS free French Bulldogs. Nicci has very high standards for her dog parents, always going the extra mile to get the very best homes for her pups and the life they will live.

We are now only days away from getting our second little Chaleureux babe, a brother and playmate for Storm. We absolutely wouldn't go anywhere else. Our new furbaby Presley is another healthy single copy screwtail DVL2. Getting to know Nicci has been the cherry on top, we can see the force behind this incredible program. We love being able to pick up directly from Nicci's home and seeing the living environment of the dogs, we always get fast and clear communication, with lots of updates and photos before the handover. Nicci also provides a really helpful breed specific puppy guide, and ongoing support. And of course the healthiest French Bulldogs on the market!

We will always be incredibly grateful for all Chaleureux has done to give us the very best. And we most certainly consider ourselves Chaleureux family and ambassadors. We wish we could scream it to the world, these babies no longer have to suffer! And it's all thanks to ethical registered and experienced breeders like Chaleureux, with their program putting the health and wellbeing of the pups they breed first.

We have two of Nicci's beautiful babies… having been raised with large working dogs on a farm I was nervous to have such small fussy dogs… and inside! But what a delight!

Not only are Pumpkin and Bandit visually stunning, with open airways and in perfect health, they have the most beautiful and cheeky personalities. They have really blended into much loved family members. They are smart, sociable, well adjusted little angels, especially when treats are on offer!

The process with Nicci was fantastic, from the beginning with selecting the right home for her furbabies through to after. If I had a question she was there to help me through. I am so glad she chose us to love these frenchies! Have nothing but praise for her professionalism and passion in producing healthy dogs. My babies are everything to us! I would never get a pup from anyone else!

I have been fortunate enough to purchase 2 of Nicci's puppies from Chaleureux. The whole experience has been fantastic. She has made the process easy with all her help to import them into New Zealand.

She is a fantastic mentor and happy to share her mountain of knowledge, we keep in touch regularly even now the pups are a year old. I am grateful to have met Nicci and would not hesitate to recommend her to future puppy owners.
